• Purpose: Powers the Scan feature for document scanning, PDF creation, and OCR text extraction
• Data Processing: All document scanning, PDF creation, image conversion, and text extraction occur 100% locally on your device
• Privacy: Your scanned documents and PDFs never leave your device unless you choose to share them

The following features process data entirely on your device with no external servers:

• Document Scanning: Uses Apple's VisionKit for camera scanning and document capture LOCAL
• Scan to PDF: Create PDFs from camera captures entirely on your device LOCAL

• OCR Text Extraction: Extract text from scans and images using Vision framework LOCAL
• Usage History: Stored locally on your device and accessible in Settings LOCAL

Data processed locally never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or third parties.

7. Data Storage and Security

• No Permanent Storage: We do not store your math problems, AI detection results, generated ideas, scanned documents, or chat messages on our servers
• Real-Time Processing: AI features (math solving, ideas generation, grammar checking, chat) process requests in real-time and do not retain your data
• Local Storage Only: Usage history, PDF files, and scanned content are saved only to your device
• PDF Storage: Created PDFs are stored locally with options to Save, Share PDF, or Clear
• Clear History: You can delete all locally stored data anytime from Settings
• Free Service: All AI detection, math solving, scanning, and ideas generation features are completely free
• Security Measures: Industry-standard encryption protects data in transit to Cloudflare AI services

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with:

• Cloudflare Workers AI: To provide AI-powered features (Math Solver, Ideas Generator, Grammar Checker, Chat, Tools). AI Detection and Scan features are 100% local and do NOT share data.

MATHGPT AI Math Solver & Homework is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own when using Cloudflare Workers AI services. Cloudflare operates globally, and we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

Note: AI Detection and Scan features process all data locally on your device and do not involve international transfers.

Scan to PDF: Capture documents with camera and create PDFs locally. Image to PDF: Convert gallery photos to PDF. Extract Text: OCR from scan or gallery images. PDF Ready with Save, Share PDF, and Clear options. All processing happens locally using Apple's Vision framework. No data sent to servers.
